Dust, Dust, Everywhere is Dust

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the dust down inside the TSX?

I can clean my navi screen and 3 days later it is covered in dust. The same for the dash and the auto tranny.

Any ideas?

There's a mini size california duster. I have one but I'm mixed on how well it works. I generally just do a wipe down every week or so.

The thing you have to remember about the california dusters is that the dirtier they are the better they work.

So if you have a brand new one its going to take some time for the dust/charge to build up right... I had one for the exterior of my trans am, worked great.

I keep a 3M Scotchbrite micorfiber cloth in the armrest box and dust lightly every few days. It's such a fast job, sometimes I'll do it at a stoplight. The ebony interior will show every spec of dust.

Swiffers work real well. I'm embarrassed to say this but I find myself cleaning the interior with it almost every time I get in.

I have a cleaning problem, I just spent an hour detailing and it wasnt even dirty. Need sunglasses just to look at it.

I reccomend using a special cloth you can buy at walmart. Its a dusting cloth that works really well. It attracts dust like a magnet and leaves the surface cleaned and dust-free. You can use it with glass cleaner for the navi screen or just water bottle spray....i don't have a navi so i dunno if you can use glass cleaner spray on screen or not. Anyway, the cali duster sucks! So get this $4 cloth and it should take care of your issues. And yes yes, I rarely drive with windows down. Keep them closed and only open them a bit once in a while. That will keep the dust out. Also, it keeps your a/c vents from getting dust ridden i hate that! But there's detailing brush if they get dusty that makes them look clean and new again. Go to walmart auto section, you can get all the tools cheap!
