Maybe it's those little 'compact' parking stalls, maybe it's my fear of tapping the door into the car next to me, maybe it's just my big-ass feet. I dunno. What I do know is that it seems like everytime I get out of my car my shoe seems to come in contact with the door panel. Little kick or a little rub or something. Seems to happen like clockwork.

At first it was no big deal; I would detail my car and a few extra rubs with a damp cloth would clean it right up. Now it's going on almost a year of ownership and the scuffs are actually turning into scratches in the plastic right on the outside of the door pocket and they're not going away.

Would Vinylex from Lexol do any good? 400-grit sandpaper maybe?

My previous rig was a Z71 4x4 and I never ran into anything like it. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

Yep, I got it too!!! Since I'm a businessman, seems like the dress shoe soles do it more than anything else. I also have those marks on the side skirts as well. Those I know how to remove, but the ones on the door panel I have been unsuccessful with any attempts.
