Clean/Polish exhaust tips?

Anyone bother cleaning and polishing the exhaust tips? I tried a general cleaner but it did nothing.
If you did, what did you use?
Thanks

Inaccurate recommended an alcohol wipe for the bumper. It's still brown.

I wound up using barkeepers friend with 0000 steel wool to clean it. Then use neverDull for a polish. They look much better now, but don't shine.
Are the insides of the tips made black?

I guess I need to put more elbow grease in to it? Did you use steel wool?

They don't shine originally like chrome does but the steel wool may have dulled them.

Try P21s polishing soap or Optimum Metal Polish. I've tried both but prefer p21s since it comes with the sponge and doesn't turn black the way optimum metal polish does.

I used eagle ones wheel cleaner on my tips, and they came really clean and it brought out the nice stainless steel shine... give it a whirl.

I use grade 00 steel wool and it's worked well. You just need too stay on top of it.
