Clay bar, lethal dose?

I just clay bared my car today. I'm extremely happy with the results. It took off virtually all of the grey and white specs of overspray that has blighted my car for a year and a half now. Anyway, my question is, will this damage the paint if I use it on a bi-monthly or monthly basis?

Sorry mods wrong forum, can you move this to wash and wax forums?

Just make sure you wax after you're finished. Not only did you remove all the grey and white specs you removed all the wax on your car.

I bought the Meguirs clay bar kit, it came with carnuba wax. Overkill yeah, I just don't want the car to end up the way it was again. Maybe every 3 or 4 months.

You talking about the carnuba SPRAY? That wont last very long on the clear coat.

Doing it monthly may be too much. You can just keep your car clean and wax it monthly. Claying will remove not just the overspray, but the wax, so be sure to wax it afterwards or the paint will have very little protection.

I know the feeling after you clay it and always wanted that feeling on your car.

Spray lubricant for the clay bar and some wax past in a bottle.
