Sonus SFX Ultra-Fine Detailing Clay-

When used as directed for regular maintenance, one bar of Sonus SFX Ultra Fine Detailing Clay will clean your vehicle’s paint 3-4 times.

May be worth buying if you can use it 20 times. Don't have to kneed it either.

You're saying you don't have to kneed it. My question is what does the Elastrofoam do with the collected contaminants? I don't have any info on this new product but here are several links that do talk about it. Mind you, I haven't read any of it (yet) and just passing info.

Dan, as far I as I know your able to wash it. I mean it may be the product of the decade, but as mentioned, a guinea pig and first class evaluation would be great!

Looks like it leaves your LSP intact as well.

Now, most importantly, can I DROP it and still use it???

Is the lube just a QD spray or is it special and going to run out before the bar does?

Looks like the same item, but manufactured by Hi-Tech industries called The Body Sponge
BHS-212 Hi-Tech Body Sponge™. New breakthrough product! Safely and easily removes rail dust, water spots, tar, bugs, and paint overspray from automotive paint and glass surfaces. Lubricate with any showroom shine.
  • No kneading required
  • If dropped on floor, simply rinse off.
  • Use up to 30 times.
Here's a review from the Meg's Forum and is available from ADS for $12.95 or a two pack for $21.95.

This is an excerpt of an article on claying written by Jon (aka TOGWT) . . .
Alternative product- Hi-Tech Body Sponge™ this innovative rubber polymer product safely and easily removes overspray, water spots, tree sap, rail dust, bugs and other bonded surface contaminants from the surface of automotive paint, glass, mouldings and plastic, may be used with any kind of lubricant. Sponge retains soap and water and releases it as a lubricant when gently squeezed while gliding over the surface. Unlike detailer’s clay this product can be cleaned by simply rinsing off the accumulated contaminates with water or in a soap bucket. Accidentally dropping it on the ground is not a problem. Just rinse the sponge pad clean and you’re ready to keep using it. Easy grip sponge allows for sturdy and controlled handling, can be used up to 30 times before needing to be discarded. Hi-Tech Body Sponge™
