Inspire Fogs
Steven Bell and ggesq, there are 2 thread have info about Inpire Fogs but missing details and install information.
That's is why I wanted to create another thread. I will fill it with install infos and I am guessing Undying Dreams will as well.. (will install with rockstar143)
Lately, some members also had question about Inspire Fogs also.. might be helpfull
-----------
First of all, yes these fogs are height adjustable as some members told me, but it's not the inside reflector that moves.
Whole fog unit is inside a box looking plastic cover. Headlight unit moves up and down.
So in order for you to adjust them after you do the install, you have to leave a gap in front of the fender.
If you want to do perfect job by installing the fog unit by the front edges, then you won't be able to adjust them. Since it's actually the unit that's moving, not the inner reflector.
==Here what it came with..
^ I couldn't figure out where these go. Doesn't fit anywhere
Here, I adjusted it to highest level
As you could see the front of the fog lifts up but the back cover stays still.
This is what I am using. 5k from HIDEXTRA
and these fogs take bulb type h11
Not bright as I expected.
Classic lower fogs as any other cars. Reflector is so smilar to friends CLK320
In this picture, I am holding the fog as it is installed to the car. Angled as it will be when installed to the fenders.
Yes left side is a little bit more bright. As I mentioned, just like regular fogs
My Osram 5K CBI's look yellowish after these 5k HIDEXTRA but may be because they are new..
This picture is right after I turned on the fogs actually
rockstar143, I would say definitely check it after you install them. You have to keep the fog perfectly straight. I moved it up a very little, and it screwed my cutoff from that distance.
meh..they are bright actually
Will install it tomorrow...hoping to if it's nice outside
Website I got them from

These should be a piece of cake to install =)
Lots easier than accord fogs too!
Best of luck with the install.

Nice write-up. I got a set of these just sitting in the storage unit (like most the shit for this car) waiting for someone to help install as Im clueless how.
Only thing as I have brought up in another thread is the lack of a glare guard and putting HIDs in there. Since the light will scatter like roaches in light, I just wonder how it will to other drivers.

Looks good, those bulbs you got look more like 8000K on the ground, if I had bumper fogs I'd run 3000K, the only reason I don't in the stock ones is cause it would look stupid next to the stock bulbs. Got a link on where to get these lights? Also by any chance pics of how they're mounted?

Thanks Austin.
If you finish up the relay, J. you will help J. a lot because these fogs are easy to install. He won't have problems
To hear that from you helped a lot
and
You are right. Sits nice and easy
Thank you sir!
Should be your next mod Thanks Tyler

Thanks very much
Couldn't finish the install today but have an idea of how it will be.
Glare to Other Drivers:
Let me talk about that a little..
I installed HIDs to stock UA6 inner fogs.
Some members say that they disturb the other drivers but, to me that's impossible.
The cut off line of out fogs (height) is same on both sides. Unlike headlights that left is lower than right side.
Cut off of the inner fogs are same height as the RIGHT headlight.
(Acura dealer adjusted my headlights)
So when you turn on the HID fogs, left becomes same as right side height.
Top of the cut off
With zkw-r, top of the cut-off is totallt dark. When you turn on the HID inner fogs, they do throw some glare on top BUT mostly on sides
That is why I never got high-beamed by other drivers
Those big reflector headlights on some trucks in traffic with stock bulb looks worse, belive me.
Now think about moving this fog to the lower grills.
You decide if putting HIDs in to Inspire Fogs will disturb other drivers or not..
"These Inspire Fogs works just like normal fogs. Throws the light to the sides..mostly"
Yeah, finally.. thanks.
Waited more than a week but it's good.
Was out of stock
I agree.
Reason I never like Accord Fogs is because of the plastic cover that holds it.
That's not how a fog should be when there is lower fender with patterns on it.
Lines should come and stop at the fog light and continue on from other side or end..
^Looks way cleaner, if you ask me...
Nice and clean..
Accord Fogs looks good if 4 sides of that plastic cover is bumper. Not fender IMO
...and that. Matches the shape of headlights. That pulled me a lot.

I was dealing with the TL the whole day.
Couldn't finish the fogs.
No time, too cold, and installed CAI + connected my orange LEDs in innder fogs to parking bulb
But!!!
I do have an idea how to install them.
I did buy a dremel but didn't check if I had the proper add-on to cut the front grills...which I didn't
----
I opened up the back so the cables/bulb fit
Other than that all you have to do is cut the front grille.
after that, fog sits in there... as I saw
That's what you heard from some members as well, right Austin?
I took out that box behind the fog unit. Height adjuster.
Fits better inside
Because of that, for the right side, all you have to do is drill a circular spot for bulbs to go through.
Let me see how it will go tomorrow.
But couldn't take out the fenders because of the A-Spec
and
I didn't want to take the A-Spec out
I might shave it while it's on tomorrow. Will see

I am more fan of having 5k fogs and adding yellow overlay/tint during winter time, so you have both

To get straight to the point I recommend you skip to 6:45 second mark.
Honestly, your bulb looks just as blue as the first ballast test on the drivers side. Notice how he says it's a "5K" bulb. Yours is far from that lol

Awesome.. thank you
Austin ordered 6k, wonder how his looks like.
I wouldn't care the quality when it comes to fogs but I don't want bluish hid. Will reach HIDEXTRA

When I installed mine I did it slowly over the course of 2 days. Considering it was my first trying to wire up anything I feel I did it pretty fast. Probably between 4-6 hours total. It was very easy to do and there's probably a better way to install it than what I did. But at the time I didn't know the fog light height adjustment physically adjust the entire assembly vs the inside of the fog light.

It might be less cutting, since there is a fog location already
but not sure how to cut that Type-S A-spec lower grill that's on steroids
Sounds easy though
Did you take out the box behind the fog? Or did you install it with it

Awesome man. Was waiting on a thread on this, thinking about this as a summer project. I broke 2 sets of Accord fogs before buying the OEM ones which are MUCH better quality.
What about these. The ones I see floating on Ebay are obviously aftermarket. Comparable to OEM? These look even more prone to cracking. I hate having to redo them so hoping this will be a one time shot. Are the lenses plastic or glass?

^True story
but zkw-r comes first in my list...then bulb
Lens is the real deal.
I used CBI with stock lenses. It was bright yeah, but I was 10 times amazed after the zkw-r install.
