Indeed, man...indeed.
Here's how it's shaped up:

Aspec Enkei's 48.5 lbs
Works with Conti 51 lbs
Works with Dunlop 52.5 lbs
Austin's F14's 44 lbs.

Maybe it was a different offset I measured last time...but either way.

Anyone considering ordering these fogs, be patient and order them soon, no telling when the guy will say that they are no longer being supplied these.

Not that I know off.. but wondered about it
It looks kind of small to fit a projector in there but not sure...

Good luck, can't wait to see the outcome

I think they would fit a small projector in it but then that would defeat the whole purpose of the look when they light up. If you dont want glare, I would just suggest using normal bulbs instead of hid bulbs. You can also maybe open them up and create your own cut off shield for the bulb like people used to do for their non-projector headlights.

Also, there is an eBay seller from which I got mine, he's pretty cool and just got a new shipment not to long ago. He still list them as just 06-07 accord jdm foglights, but he'll be changing it soon maybe since he's been asking for my pictures and permission to use them.

About $90 shipped, good deal.

Yeah what kind of a glare are we talking about here?
If I install normal bulb in there, reflector will reflect the light to same spots anyway

Fogs are not big as headlight and on the ground, so won't catch your eyes like installing hids to normal headlight

That ebay link is the clear fogs by the way. Not smoke if anyone is planing to buy it

Yeah, the glare isn't a huge issue since they're mounted so low.

If you're staring at my HID fog lights, you're an idiot.

The only reason i was worried about glare is cuz my buddy put hids in his fogs an people were brighting him all the time. Im not a fan of people doin that to me so im goin to put in projectors and see what happens!! Besides projectors make the lights brighter and thats what im aiming for!!

Thinking of doing these but don't love them yet. I'm going to wait. Staying with the accord fogs for now, good thing is my wiring is all done just have to mod the fogs

Funny, now that I've gotten used to the inspires...if I decided to remove them, I wouldn't replace with anything else. The accord ones look small and out of place to me now...funny, because I did love them for 4 years although was always irked that something looked "off" about them, the angle, the bezel, how it sat in the bumper...not sure, it looked good and oem overall, but as never 100% on them.

You even painted the plastic bezel around the lens, which kind of matched the car... as in flow wise
But many others have plastic in there
I see plastic cover more than the fog lens... well, sticks out

I love mine, TLs without them just look weird to me now but that's just me.

I prefer the clear ones, they match the unmodified headlights better imo. I had them tinted yellow for a bit but they looked wierd on AM.

Yeah, i like that the smoked ones barely looked smoked, with the clear headlights, i'm sure the clear would be better.

PS...the accord ones with grill, painted bezel and the wiring from this kit will likely be FS on the BM soon.

inspired fogs look good on our TL bumpers! but those glare, more harm to other drivers than the road......blinding with hid bulbs...

but again, they do look good (physically).

Talking My Inspire install

Picture time line of the install starting with testing the bulbs. I included extra pics of them mounted from behind the bumper because I referenced pics from this thread during the install.

INSTALL TIME.

STEP 2. - Test fitment
Name: 20131207_223921_zpsw3g8mf7u.jpg
Views: 368
Size: 53.6 KB

STEP 3. Cutting- cut less than you think you need to go back over the area if they still don't fit. I cut too much of my grill so it had a gap and had to remake my grill and cut properly, could have been avoided if it cut less first. Remember to cut a slit for air intake flow on the driver side.

Name: 20131207_223851_zpsd7dugsoh.jpg
Views: 332
Size: 103.4 KB

On the right side I had to cut some of the grill trim to get the little vent parts to fit on the left of the fog.

STEP 4. Secure them- We used short self tapping screws making sure they didn't puncture the headlight, just the mounting. They were pretty secure with just that but decided to epoxy them in and let it sit over night. After that I went over them with black silicone. Used silver sharpie to mark the position where it looked best and flush in the bumper so we can hold in place while securing.

WIRE TIE- incase all else fails the fog is still tied to the bumper and won't fall out. also helps keep in place while epoxy sets.

You need to relocate one of the horns or else the fog light case hits them and bumper can't fit on the passenger side. I unscrewed one and then zip tied it near the horn I left screwed in so it can clear it.

Got very lucky getting the Inspire for $45 because an eBay guy was out of stock! Thinking back it may have been cool to add a small LED in the fogs to illuminate them but oh well. I'm open to any questions, comments, and picture request but could care less about what people think about my red trim or excessive lights!

thanks for sharing. I'm hoping forum members will be kind with their opinions. You have a lot going on!

Lights, I have yet to get high beamed for blinding people...but maybe it's out of respect for the Acura.

I like how it transitioned from a good DIY guide for installing the inspire fogs to a collage of all the other lights and LED mods you done to your car haha. You're very proud of what you got and that's good. I can't imagine trying to wire all that stuff up to switches for each light. Do you have a lot of switches inside the car?

Thank you very much,it means alot. I used to have 3 switches in my ash tray but moved away from that. I have the grill lights wired to the dome, LED switchback strip and LED drl connected to one switch, independent fog light mod for the factory fogs, the catz fog is a 2 button switch because it has two lights in one case, a separate controller box for the underglow, and a factory type switch for the Inspire fogs. The switchback orange part of the LED strip is tapped into the blinkers and so are my side markers so they blink too. Not pictured is my reverse lights that are connected to another toggle switch so I can turn on at any time (scares off tailgaters). I'll try to get a pic in the day time of my switch set up.

Mother of light

Am I the only one that didn't relocate the horn and it still not touching?
I just made sure again couple days ago, changed the bulb from the fender/tire area

Edit: Oh but I didn't use that bracket of the fog light housing

Wow that's a lot of lights. Way to busy for me, but I can appreciate the amount of thought and work that probably went into all that.
