Prices Paid and Offers Accepted 2020 RDX
There’s a thread for ‘19 RDX so this one would be specific to the 2020 RDX
We are closed to pulling the trigger on a ‘20 A-Spec. I’ve already email a few dealers around the DC area and have received an email from dealer 1 one with a quote, an email from Dealer 2 to call them back to discuss and haven’t heard back from the 3rd.
What can I expect for a 20 A-Spec? I see there’s still a few 19s but will only consider a 2020 (please don’t turn this into a “just get the 19 for a greater discount)

Looks like a good deal. I am in Socal and looking for a base or tech package with awd.
What is the dealer name that gave you that offer?

I contacted up to SEVEN dealers around bay area and got them to compete and bid. This offer is from Hopkins Acura at Redwood City, but the salesperson said today it is only good for this month. hope this helps.

40,000 for 2020 AWD w/tech package? Seems like a good deal for sure. My local dealership is trying to screw me. True car is about 42K I believe. I need your sales guy. How do I get my local guys to go that low.

Local dealer dealer in Socal offered me a $42K OTD for a 2020 Base SH-AWD. I offered $41K OTD. I am going to buy a base and use it as a utility vehicle since I still own a 2016 MIata.
How is $42k OTD with a 9.5% sales tax? MSRP is $40595.

How soon can I pay off the loan from Acura if I financed through them? The local dealer is able to accept my offer but they need me to finance through Acura. Dealer said I can payoff the loan after 30 days. True?

Yes, that's correct. We used Acura Finance in exchange for some price discount, made one payment then refinanced it with USAA. Easy peasy.

Took delivery of an RDX (Modern Steel w Red interior) today.

OTD $46,221
I contacted several dealers here in the DC/MD/VA Region and this is the best offer I received. All the negotiations were done through email or phone although a few of them really wanted me to come in to discuss the price.
I unfortunately did not qualify for any existing discount (loyalty, military, etc)
I financed through my local Credit Union - 2.99% for 60 months with a $200 Gift Card if I bought a car by 7/31. Other banks were offering 3.49% and 3.99% but of course we went with the lowest.

I just picked up a Black 2020 A-Spec AWD here in Charleston, SC
Out the door was 40K with 2500 for a trade 1500 in rebates and they took 3000 off the MSRP because it was black and I said blue was my first choice, and black was in-stock.

Don’t accept the first offer. I had to send a few emails to get my deal. On 7/31, I sent an email to 3 dealerships asking for their best and final offer. I told them that I don’t want to waste anymore of their time, but more importantly, mine. I specifically noted that I will be buying that day. I got a few best offers and they are mostly similar, I emailed Rosenthal that I will be there at 4 if they include the OEM all weather mats for free (they did)
They prepared all the paperwork beforehand, so all we had to do is test drive, PDI and sign (took less than 2 hours)
Good luck, you’ll enjoy the RDX. Let me know if you have add’l questions.

You’re welcome. I think it’s too early into the month so the dealers are not really motivated yet. Always ask for the OTD price and ask for the breakdown as well. Not sure if you’re aware but the dealer fees in MD is capped at $300, but I think VA is $795. So the VA dealers may give you a lower “sale” price, you may end up paying more because of the $495 difference in dealer fee. Ask for Amir at Rosenthal, he treated us well and I think I get a $50 gift card as referral fee 😉

yeah, the dealers are not very motivated and interactive. I got a $3899 off MSRP from Rosenthal through the credit union link and Chevy Chase dealer agreed to match it. Did Rosenthal dealership has some free oil change, car wash, etc? I may get a slightly better loan rate with Rosenthal but some free oil changes from the other one. Both are close to my house.

. I did not find a sales rep with the name of Amir in Rosenthal website.

They offer free loaner and car washes when you take it in for service but it comes with a complimentary paint scratches/swirl (just kidding, I’m just not a big fan, I enjoy washing cars )
If you’re not in a rush, wait until the last week of the month to really start negotiating. Once you get the price that you are comfortable with, ask for freebies or discounted rates on accessories.
I’ll pm you my real name....$50 would be awesome.

Price paid for our 2020 a-spec awd 7/31/19
There’s a thread for ‘19 RDX so this one would be specific to the 2020 RDX
We are closed to pulling the trigger on a ‘20 A-Spec. I’ve already email a few dealers around the DC area and have received an email from dealer 1 one with a quote, an email from Dealer 2 to call them back to discuss and haven’t heard back from the 3rd.
What can I expect for a 20 A-Spec? I see there’s still a few 19s but will only consider a 2020 (please don’t turn this into a “just get the 19 for a greater discount)

Exactly... not totally sure what the "one and done" comment is lol. The title says "prices paid and offers accepted" soooo
When I decided to start test driving vehicles, I started my day with yogurt, raspberries, and slices of nectarines...
Actually I test drove a cx5 (too small), a cx9 (a bit too big, and no balls). An xc60 (really nice, but a bit out of my price range, and while the back of it looks great, the front wasn't sporty enough). I test drove another cx9 at a different dealer just to make sure it was too big and had no balls. I liked the price and the look of it, especially the grill, but ya... driving a big boat around with no pep whatsoever. Also visited 3 acura dealers, test drove the rdx at one and fell in love.
Perfect size, tons of pep, reasonably priced, lots of safety features for the wife and kid. Got a price from them. Went to a different Acura dealer and did a deeper dive into prices and the various options package. Found the exact one I wanted at a third dealer, and got the price I was after (above, I've already posted in this thread).
I'm about 1500 km's in and so far no issues whatsoever. Absolutely loving it. Had the front two windows tinted and added more tint and UV protection to the back windows. Sometimes when I don't have anywhere to go, I want to go to the garage and just sit in it.

Members will use this site as they see fit...some will be more engaged and post something constantly while others will ask a specific question and never post again or until they have another question or able to contribute to another member’s post.
If you have a specific question regarding what people paid/offered on a 2020 RDX or would like something else to be included in people’s posts, ask here and hope members will respond.
