Passed pretty much every example of a vette 50's - 14 groups of 5-15ish on the rest of my trip to Austin so I guess there is something going on at COTA today

Been so busy with everything that I don't think I can spare 4 hours unless I were to get a rental. :x

Which is why I'm thinking of bringing it to someone like a dealership to do it for me so I can get a rental while they do it.

hey guys, recently bought a 07 TL and just starting buy performance parts. I'm a little new to the car scene, I used to drive a 4x4 and the TL's engine is way more compact. So I'm looking to meet up, chat, drink, bbq, etc. let me know!

 

Come threw...you can always stay a night at my place if you'd like...

Sounds good I'm on my second one & have had almost every bolt on performance part & have always installed everything myself. ..lmk I've probably done it or know what it requires. ..

i bought a cold air and I was about to get an exhaust system( most likely rv6) but my alternator has been fucking up and ive gone through three alternators already through autozone....

 

its a DC sports cai

 

Ive heard of that one same aas the expensive brands for like half the price i believe good choice...i think something is killing your alternator how long in between changing them out do you go?...i've always had extreme bass in both cars and never had a problem...

 

well ive been talking to the guys at the autozone and they were saying that the remanufactured parts they sell are low quality. it lasts around a day and than it starts screeching! im about ready to put a bullet in the thing. Im taking it to gunn acura tomorrow.

 

Hey San Antonio A-ziner's. I know I've been out for a while but I've had good reason. See back on August 8 I had a slight encounter with a curb. Curb won! You know the feeling when your hydroplaning and can't do shit about it! Well here some pics of what happens when your 3858 lb TLs Vossen slams into a curb. Over a month later and it's still in the shop, just waiting on a tire now, which should be in tomorrow.
I have to say, I still rolled about 15 ft on that wheel's one remaining spoke, damn good wheel.
I should be back out and about next week!

 

Damn, glad you're ok. What all needed replacing besides the wheel?

The initial estimate was only to replace the wheel and tire, and repair/paint the front bumper. However ended up having to replace the entire sub-frame or engine cradle to get it to align properly. Still waiting for the tire.
