Wow. I have a lot of catching up to do. Turns out it wasn't the bushings. Mine actually look ok. There is still a clunk. It might be my upper ball joint or my shocks. My mechanic said to drive it until it gets worse, rather than replacing parts that "might" be it.

Well, I got diverted to a bridge that wasn't treated, on a surface street... I now see why summer tires are USELESS. I just tapped the gas.... the VSC triangle just flashed. I made it to Katy, canceled the rental car and took her SUV to Baton Rouge. No ice after 2pm. Hope everyone was safe.

i have that "clunking" too, its on my passenger side, and nowi hear some screeching noise coming from the driverside... mannn =[[

 

if its a control arm bushing, try this, accelerate and brake immediately, like with in a sec, on a street and see if you hear anything similar.

should be here on friday.

but my stainless steel lines and MOTUL brake fluid from excelerate are enroute and scheduled to be here on the 22.

Sup guys...I'm still around. Got a new project truck I'm working on so I've been working over on another forum lately (infamousnissan.com). TL is a bit of a garage queen now. Dropped a new w6 into my Uncald4 box and it sounds killer. Otherwise, nothing else new. Oh, I spaced out my A-Spec wheels a little bit...looks nice.

 

Marc, you should really replace that mount when you get a chance. That's probably where your clunking is coming from. That mount is so far gone, the other main mounts are probably bad too.

Hey all, sorry I wasnt able to make the meet. My ballast has completely gone out now. Does any now where I can get some OEM ballast ASAP. I dont really want pay the dealer $300 for a ballast. I'd like to replace both balast since I'll have to remove the bumper
