And Mario, I got it tuned by Huy at Inline Racing, still need to do some more work to get the full power out of the motor
And I'm using aem fi/c

^also, since he tuned the 3.6l, is there a way to tune the TL's 3.2l assuming I go F/I or stroke my motor?

Without the tune, my car did 242 at the wheel, with the tune, it went up to 250. I still need to do a couple more mods before getting another tune.

 

^ what other mods? i just ordered the headers and im not getting enough fuel in so a fuel pump is going in this weekend, hopefully bumping it to more shots then wait for a tune..

yea dennis its auto, and so far so good the tranny is good, i barely hit like 103k last week orig. tanny!

 

Did a lil run over on Bolivar and I was surprised @ how long it took him to pass me and I did ease up a bit. Tried again on broadway but I was taking it easy because Galveston police are not cool. I'm sure his car is faster than mine but I expected it to be way more faster.

 

Oh ok. Be careful of adding more power that the tranny may not be able to handle, we know how fragile they are. Are you using Redline fluid? I just did a 3x3 flush recently with the Redline stuff . We should meet up sometime and have garage days. I do most of the work under a carport @ my apt complex.

 

I asked emmanuel if I could whoop Nauman. he said no chance...

i'm doing a full 3" exhaust tomorrow, other than leaking xs headers, i still have a factory exhaust. Need to get some pulleys soon too.


the tune was 500 and the i got a good deal on teh fi/c and harness, for about 325.

Im not claiming my car is fast as hell, but definitely faster than before. the numbers i put down were pretty disappointing, but lets see how much these other mods help out.

On the runs, i think we both had different starts, slowing down at a few points, never an even race. but we'll see on our way to Austin.
some one needs to grab a camera.

and ofcourse I was also expecting my car to be faster than what it is.

but this was just a quick tune. I think i need to start diagnosing it and see what's not giving its 100%, may be something holding up.

Awesome,cant wait for this meet..I'll be riding bumper-less at the rear cuz i hate the fact that it flaps on high speeds and rubs when i turn now (broken tabs). Oh i spoke to Doc Steve yesterday and he said there's a slight chance for him to come with us to this meet,but me and him are planning on going to HRP on Friday or Sunday.

I got a slowassvtec lol. The closest thing I have to performance mods is the mid muffler delete and the intake resonator delete and I'm sure I didn't get any performance gains from those.

I think I am growing up. I played a lot when I had my prelude but after it wrecked I said fuck it. I am just trying to keep the tl clean. Maybe I will get a full exhaust eventually but for now I like my stage 3
