what a fun night yesterday. amazing fights first, then went and met up with the guys at PZ, after that met up with some friends and we had a few runs. there was a supra, z06, couple of evos, s2k, and a few turbo'd volvos that tagged along. Ofcourse the vette and the supra were too quick for me. but ran the turbo'd volvo and took it. didnt get a chance to run the evos.

 

Did anybody take pics ? If so post them up, I couldnt make it out I partied too hard on Friday so I was just chillin last nite

 

hey guys is it absolutely mandatory to get a camber kit for the rear if i drop the car?

 

^^ No. How much of a drop are you getting? I bought 2 kits of the ingalls for mine and the alignment only used one for both sides.

 

not mandatory, if u are rubbing or going to rub, camber kit prevents that. plus, youre going to go thru tires quick cuz of camber wear lol

 

well im only wanting to drop it a little... maybe 1 inch or less.
with springs.. any specific brand i should go with? tein, h&r ?

 

Saif,you dont need a camber kit with drop springs. Like Marc said,you only need it when u rub. If you were getting coils,then i'd advice getting camber kits for the rear.

My laptop is broken (wont turn on anymore after i manually turned it off) so i cant edit or post pics,i'll see if i can use my sis laptop and then post the ones i took.

^^ he hes ok i was in the back seat when we hit it.. he was chasing someone and hopped a curb and hit a fire hydrant..

Weird thing was no airbags came out and when we hit the hydrant we didnt stop we kept going as if we ran it over.. than seconds later we ran over a cat. that part was kinda funny though haha.

the cat was crossing the road and then all of a sudden it turned around and went under the drivers side tire like if the cat was on a suicide mission haha.

Thats not good bro,u shouldn't have even let him drive or better yet take a cab. Sucks the cat got ran over even tho I LOL'd. He's lucky it wasn't someone he ran over cuz that would be a disaster and nightmare. Just glad everyone of y'all are safe,keep it that way.

hey im about to buy springs so i can drop my ride for this galveston meet and the big ass texas meet.. just wanted to know if anyone knows a good shop where i can get the springs installed along with some minor fender work (rolling & cutting) for a good fair price???

 

^^ where do you plan to buy the springs? The galveston meet is this sunday. Why do you need the fenders rolled for a mild drop?
