Does anyone know of any good MDX tuners in houston??

I am trying to get the power increased on 2011 MDX and researched on google and found out about the Rotrex C38-61 is the best option,

I don't know how to instal it though or the whole kit, so please let me know if you know anyone that does that kind of work, I would like to change the whole look of it like

wider black wheel(not big one's like 22, just 20 and wider) quad exhaust tips, turbo or super charger, bigger breaks kind of...

please let me know if you have more ideas as well, I really didn't see anything on the web

 

that rotrex supercharger is probably fake and misleading.

Does the MDX use the Jseries engine?
if so, there has been a ECU recently released for the 3rd GEN TL. since, the mdx and TL use the same engine family, I'm sure rodney can port the ECU over to the MDX. a reported 20hp/20tq was gained with this ECU.
I'm on board for this ECU group buy which cost $1225.
after the group buy the price will go up an additional 200 dollars.

if you were seriious about tuning your MDX, I'd give Rodney a call.

 

I am not sure about the engine, but I am looking for some serious power upgrade and Rotrex turbo charger is supposed to take it from 307 to 425bhp

so if the ECU does something like that, then I am up for it

 

^that supercharger/turbo charger is a incomplete kit. you will have LOTS of trouble if you decide to buy that.
there isnt any one running that kit. I assume its a scam. they will take your money.

no, this ECU will not give you mounds of power. but will give you about 20 hp and 20 torque. Butt, I'm not even sure if it applies to you. you need to call Rodney of J&R next level performance.

it sounds like you dont know much about cars. therefore, if you get a kit that advertises so much hp, you'll be disappointed.

you could probably do basic bolt ons to free up some HP. but as far as a turbo kit or supercharger, you'll need some one to help you fabricate one.
it wont be cheap. and will probably take a lot of time to build.

 

so, what I really am trying to say is.....if you wanted power, you should have picked something other than the MDX.

there isnt anything out there for perfomance wuse

^i'm not sure. you're going to have to call around and feel out the shops.
see if a shop has done a supercharger build on an Acura before.
ask them what they did for engine management.

 

yeah, may be I should have, but it's just been shelling out money for the other cars and my reasons to buy this are Acura's are less maintenance and has a third row, which is what I was looking for and there isn't really any, which has a third row and got power other than an Merc GL, and I am totally against the Merc's
