Anyone in Houston running on 20s thats lowered? Im debating whether to switch from my 18s or just go ahead n lower it..

umit, your resistor was mailed out yesterday. also, dont get 20s ... its not a caddy, or a lincoln, or an impala, or a truck, you catch the drift.

 

I have 20's and it's a hassle. Once I get the cash and have an opportunity, i'm going to 18's. Need more sidewall in these houston streets.

I thought the same thing about 20s, until ol hungdang showed up at the meet last weekend rollin on 20s. I have to say it looked pretty damn clean.

 

All depends on the style of the wheel......

 

 

20's can look good on TL if done right with a drop, on a show car. No way if you plan to drive on Houston streets. IMO 19's are even a stretch for a TL Houston DD, if reasonable comfort is a factor.

 

So how much could I sell some curb rashed aspec rims? Which are not really noticeable

Umit, I was on 20 lowered for a long time. Looks VIP slammed. No issue except loss of mpg.
I'm on 19 coil overs and it rides great. I'm pretty sure 18s are ideal for my sc but I think the TL look better with 19s or 20s

 

im not a fan of big wheels at all..........so i would tell you no, but its your car so do what makes you happy

I just got it last year, no mod or anything yet. Yeah, lots of them are around southwest area here as far as I've seen.
Planning to pay it off in 2 years, then I'll start some nice modding on it

 

So the question was asked in order to find out if anyone Houston had or is currently running on 20inch rims... I do admit that I could've been more thorough in my post but oh well... To all that did reply, thanks for the help I got my answer.
