So I received a lecture from Dallas's finest this morning at 7-11. Sometimes in the morning when theres nobody there I leave my car running and run in, buy my energy drink and run out. I always have exact change and I know the manager. So Im in and out in under 20 seconds. Well this morning we pulled up at the same time, I walked in first then he stopped me at the door and said "do you know its against the law to leave your keys in your car with it running?" I said "no sir, I didnt" He said " you know that its also very unsafe" I said "yes sir" being that I didnt have front license plate in having questionable tint I just nodded up and down. I said "thank you sir, it wont happen again" and i got the fuck out of there.
So I guess if my car got robbed it would of been my own fault. oh well... Ive learned my lesson..
