well drving home was interesting to say the least last night. But i made but my poor dad didnt, he had to sleep at the office last night and is now back on the road trying to get home. He has closed the office for the day so that is nice that i dont have to get back on the road with these nuts down here.

Man, I saw soooo man wrecks last night. It seemed like every overpass had at least one wreck on it. some had two!! Texans really suck as winter weather drivers

 

texans suck as drivers in general.... of all the cities i've drove in, chicago has got the best by far.

 

I guess it doesn't help that we only get ice once a year

 

Im at my bro's shop and on the way up here I couldnt believe how people were driving. I hate the drivers here in Dallas. they have no concern for safety whatsoever...

 

...especially when they drive a RWD car with W-rated compounds.

 

Dumbasses I tell ya....on my to work this jag was just riding my ass on an overpass, so I was like ok you wanna be a dick fine wrong person to do it to though, so I downshift and slow down to like 15 or 20 mph and just kept driving, jackass swirves over to the left and just guns it around me......morons

 

damn i though Louisiana drivers were bad

I had taken some days off of work so I could go visit my grandparents in Abilene.

 

How was the drive?? did you keep it under 70mph??

 

unfortunately for some reason I didn't get the mpg I was expecting. It was that drive last year that got me 33.5 mpg, but this year it was only 30 mpg. I did drive a little faster than last time, but no faster than 75 (for the most part).

The drive is boring though, almost fell asleep on the way back.

 

Man, I have never gotten better than 30 mpg, what do I have to do to get this?? Drive 65 mph?? Nope, can't do it...

 

cruise control......... the only way i did 65-70 on my way back this past weekend. took forever.

 

yep i use cruise control all the time... I'm a lazy driver

 

still cant do it....meh so you save an extra 3mpg, IMO not worth it, I'd rather have fun diving

I hear you Leo, this car is too much fun to stay at 70 mph. If I see a guy pass me, I just have to drop it down to SS 4th. I'm not lucky enough to drop it to 4th, 5th and 6th like you!!

Yea unfortunately for you it is McDavid in Plano, but man if you gotta do stuff under warranty and want no worries its worth the drive IMO. Well I guess depends on what exactly you're getting done.
