it all depends on what you get.

Comptech springs 300(+/-) + 300(+/-) for Tokico shocks.

H&R OE Sport springs are like $170!!!

Tokico shocks are the cheapest I've seen (quality/price) You can get adjustable shocks. I think Tokico Illuminas are like $400 for all 4.

I have the Tokico SP (blues) they're great, stiff, car handles well. Had them on my civic too. If you're not going to be doing any type auto x racing or whatever blues will do u just fine. The Illuminas and Koni yellows are adjustable, stiffness wise. I think that depending on the perch setting on those they may lower ur car a bit more than the blues. So really its just about what u desire in performance and how much mulla u wanna dish out

That's probably the route I will go, but I'll probably pick up some used CT springs. People always seem to be selling them on here. Thanks for the help!!

Oh BTW, congrats to pmptx with post #10,000!!!!

get the blacks (newer ones) not the silver ones. They used to rust really bad.

I'm pretty sure that the comptechs are 1.25" drop not 1.7" but I could be wrong

Besides the rust, is there anything different?? There always seems to be the silver CT for sale and I figured that I would just sand and repaint

I dont think there is anything different as far as ride quality. I know with the blacks they are Eibach springs stamped Comptech

I agree, more guys have the blues due to the price and ride. Its slightly stiffer than stock and reduces body role dramatically. Koni's are prolly the same ride just more $$ All 4 tokico shocks were $245 new off Ebay.
Yeah, You must be talking about the guy on ebay that always has the tokico's in his ebay store... Fuzzy02cls and a couple of other CL guys have bought off him.

If I was going to lower my CL, I'd be leaning towards the tokico blues and H&R OE 51858....

It's really easy to adjust coilovers. Springs/Struts aren't adjustable unless you buy the Koni Yellow's I believe. You can lower the perch.

If possible, I would just find some used coilovers. I bought my Apexi coilovers for $500 shipped brand. Tein SS go for $600 shipped all the time.

I believe you're right, just a mild drop and no need for camber kits.

Nope, we're going to drop down to division (D2). D1 is mostly the showcase teams and they do way too many tournaments . . . expensive ones at that. Probably close to $8k for 1 year

Especially if you have some miles on it already . . ., but I did keep my stock shocks because I did mine with less than 8k on it.

Thanks Jordan BTW, you sure that's not your cv joints giving out? Clicking when turning is usually cv boots ripped

yeah sounds like an axle to me... is there any fluid leaking??? it could be a combination of both... since your boot is leaking, the PS resivour is running dry... so that why it might be squealing... check into that...

Just take a peek under there and check the boots for any leakage. If there's any thick gunk saturating the boot at any point, your boots are cut. If your power sterring pump fails, you'll know. You'll feel like :killer: trying to turn the wheel and it just won't seem to turn at low speeds without serious forearm effort.
