Drew-thanks a million man. What I really was trying to get across, and obviously managed not to (all my fault for not explaing the situation up front), was that w had an agreement. He failed to make do on everything but the cosmetic repairs-which I had to fight tooth and nails to get in the first place. And on top of everything, he came straight out and called me a liar. I gave him three chances to make right on what we had originally agreed upon. And all three chances, he progressivley got more rude until he flat out called me a liar and laughed in my face. This is the only reason that the letter was written in the first place. We had an agreement. He went one way in the extreme (by not paying for anything except the cosmetic repairs), so I did the complete opposite. Since he refused to make due on a contract (which is what we had, written or not), then I am going to go after you for every freakin pennie I can. Hence the Viper rental, and the lost wages (which by the way is anything that keeps you from working, be it illness or not). I do not expect to see anything close to that $20k number. All I want is what we orginally agreed upon-the mechanical repairs, the rental amount (the $25/day amount), and the diminished value. That is not even close to taking me back to whole, but I am willing to take that loss to simply have this mess done with.
NONE of this would have happened if the guy simply made good on our contract and did not disrespect me.

So I took off to Houston yesterday on a whim. Cool stuff. Hung out with Matt last night. He actually cam eto hang out with me when out with my sister and brother in law. Only bad thing yesterday is that I got a speeding ticket on my lunch break from work while heading down Volente for a little joy ride.

The trouble is that I was cited 65 in a 45 by a Travis County Deputy. My guy can't get me cleared on county tickets...Anyone got a hook up on that front? I haven't had a ticket issued in a few years (and that one was from APD, so I got it taken care of). Any assistance would be very appreciated and taken into future consideration I guess you could say.

Let the mods begin!

I'd like to do the CT catback but I think $1,200 bucks is steep for an exhaust system. Wonder if you can just by the mufflers and resonators. I don't care about having a stainless steel exhaust system. I'l see if anyone else has posted and done the same thing or if they went with some other aftermarket muffler/resonator setup.

After that I'd go headers.
OK...I haven't gotten the CT SB yet but went ahead and ordered a Magnaflow resinator and mufflers. Maybe I'll get the stuff before 5/12 and the racing at Ennis. Got the info from one of the posts and I hope they are right, sounds suppose to be good. I'm going to have fabricated 2.5" pipe where I can, delete the mid-muffler. Suppose to have a good note like the G-23/350z.

Well, I guess I can rephrase that now...I don't like to radically mod my car.

I liked the CT exhaust note but I never believed in installing a complete cat-back exhaust system that was stainless steel, especially at that cost! A lot of money for what? This will end up giving me a little more aggressive exhaust note than the CT for ~$255 in parts and less than ~$200 in labor/parts. You could buy 3 of my exhaust mods for one CT exhaust.

And there is no questioning from Acura and the warranty on this mod.

My motto has always been to do the least expensive mods you can. And if it is to increase HP then it's the best ratio of $ to HP.
