who did you talk to at sterling mccall?

what is the b14 service? the 105,000 mile one?

knowing what they include will help us tell you if its a good price or not.

it sounds reasonable for a dealer.
if i were you, id look around for a indie mechanic that would be able to change your water pump and timing belt for less.

Also, some people have had good luck at Honda dealers....they'll do the work for you at a price lower than the Acura dealer.

cool thanks. is the $699 just for the timing belt/water pump/drive belt or is that for the entire B14 service that also include spark plug, oil/filter change, tire rotation....

^^ That is just for the Timing belt/water pump service. I find that their services are reasonably priced compared to other dealers. For eg. they charge $19.95 to balance all four tires. Call them and get a quote for what you need and most times the give discounts and they give loaners too. As for Honda, the local dealer here in Galveston work on Acuras.

I'm sure you've already gotten this done, but I'd be willing to help you/show you how to do the timing belt/water pump in my garage with my tools. Although $699 sounds like a really fair price if that's true. I'm sure the parts are $250. Probably 5-6 hour job at least.
