Hey, I'm right there with ya. I have no interest in waking at 5AM, getting ready by 6, & then leaving before 7 to get there just in time for the run, let alone missing the food.

haha yea. Supercharged TL lol. Hes getting my parts for me good guy.
Majofo as for the straight cut gears it is doable. THe problem is I think RUF still wants to be able to dd the car. The straight cuts will make a lotta noise which he probably doesnt want. We have talked about his exhaust and its still a bit loud for his taste so I would think straight cut gears are out of the question. Also best used on the track if anything.

I think Mark said he was also Mr. Mom at the track before, right, telling us about having car seats in the back? Although, showing up to his kids' soccer games with a straight cut geared TL would be somethin'.
Is that ok with him? I have no problem staying in a hotel if otherwise.

I just want to make sure. I've seen how the scenario plays out when more people than were originally invited show up.

Nelson you can stay at the Super 8....
eights a pretty high number when compared to fractions.
plus they have safes in the rooms, you can lock your GED in there

LOL . . . that was Peter with the baby seat.
Anyway, yes it would need to be a good daily driver with minimal extra noise. I've passed the days when people would freak out as I drove past them . . . thinking there was an earthquake or bomb going off.
I'm definately leaning to the 6spd . . . the wifey is halfway on board so hopefully I can get a couple of quotes to compare the costs and show her the long term benefit.

So, I'm sitting at a light today coming home trying to get into the left turn lane. The car in front of me has made it so there just isn't quite enough space for me to squeeze through; there's only 1 truck in the turn lane. The dumb bitch in the car won't move forward & I'm trying to get her to by giving it some gas. Well, all this is doing is actually making the tires spin & the TCS come on. Long story short, I didn't make the light.
However, apparently during the time I was giving it some revs & making my tires spin, caused the guy next to me to think I must have had 400 ponies because he'd "never seen anyone spin the tires so much with just a little bit of gas".
Thankfully, the light turned green before the guy could figure out wet road+FWD+decent amount of power=no traction.

Sup fellas,
Any of you guys get your A-134 (timing belt) service done recently? if so, any recommendations on a reputable place other then the dealer?
Just clocked in 100K earlier this morning so I am due soon and shopping around for quotes. Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Then get your local private mechanic to install the parts. I had mine done 40K miles ago that way and it cost me ~150-200 in parts and 200 in labor.
I also had my UR pulley installed at the same time.
