We've gotten it at home and at work, but I never got it on my cell. I do get spam texts once in a while, though. That pisses me off.

hell YES!!!

i was really on my last nerve with those calls. At least once a day.
I tried everything with them: ignoring them, politely asking them to remove me from the list, yelling at them, trying to start conversation with them, actually going along with it for a little and then talking to them, etc.
They always just hung up on me, except for once when a woman said "Sorry, I'm taking you off the list right now." That was BS.
I looked at possible legal avenues, but there was no way to tell who was calling.
I even filed a complaint online with whatever gov't group that deals with that crap.
I noticed I hadn't gotten one recently, figured my "Do Not Call" list thing actually kicked in.

This is a great thing!!

Just got a call from these idiots yesterday at work

I hear the same dumb ass recording so I figure since im bored at work I will play along with it. I push the number to get to an operator. When she answers she says she will need to ask me a few questions. I stopped her and said "Sure, but before we continue I have a question of my own.... What is your home phone number". She seems stunned for a second starts to repeat her lines. I ask her again for her home phone number. She now states that this number will be removed from the call list and hangs up on me.

So yesterday I got the call on my work phone and now today I get it AGAIN on my verizon cell. So today I get to an operator again. She starts to read her lines and I ask her if she is fu**ing retarded. She pauses and chuckles for a second. Then reads my phone number and asks if that is my number. I tell her that she just called me so she should know if its my number. She told me I would be put on the do not call list because I don't know my own number and then hung up on me

I hate these people....

We get the calls at work, too. I used to get them more than once a day sometimes. Drove me nuts.

all i did was sign up my cell phone number under the do-not-call list, and they stopped calling.

Damn it, I just got a call for info on how to lower my mortgage payment. It sounded like the same woman that called for the auto warranty.
