Software to transfer music from iPod to PC

Does anyone know any freeware applications to transfer music from my iPod over to my PC?

I saw iPod Agent but that costs money.

you can do it pretty easily, but it's definitely not made for it

you have to browse to the music folder on the ipod and then search for the songs so you don't have to browse through the 50 folders that hold the songs

what you can do is go to my computer and click on the ipod drive, then go to up to tools and click on folder option. in folder option go to view and click show all files. and then in the ipod drive there will be a hidden file. all your mp3 should be in there.

Is this the same way I would go about using my Shuffle as basically a memory key for other kinds of files? I've heard of people doing this, but idk how.

Even if they are all scrambled up, it should be no problem. Just install Itunes into the new computer after you copied the folder containing all your MP3's. Itunes will automatically scan your computer and reorganize everything for you.

Best program evar!!

The single best thing i have used (am using) is ml_ipod!!!! This program is just a plugin for winamp. It is so fuckin easy and soooo small. You can even import your playlists. You can take on and off your music. It is sooo fuckin great. And, it is free to boot.

LINK: ml_ipod
I am assuming you have winamp. That is free as well.
Good luck
