BT makes hands free so much easier. I hate having a corded headset, it always gets in my way. PITA

Kinda like having a data cable wireless, so you can transfer mp3's, pictures, video, other data, wirelessly at good speeds, plus you can communicate with other bluetooth devices and use the headsets of course, its more of a technology that hasnt all the way caught on, as when it does, and other electronics start using it, than you can control a lot of things wirelessly, for example having a bluetooth Remote Receiver, so you can change channels through walls and great distances unlike Infra Red, I wonder when bluetooth homephones get popular, that would be cool, but in General Bluetooth just recently started catching on, most people thought the technology would fail as it took too long to catch on, but I am glad its becoming a big Universal Technology in the Mobile Side of things.

Have you seen the Sony Ericsson Robotic Camera that is controlled by the P900/P910 phone?

i have software that allows me to remotely control my computers using my BlueTooth cell phone.
it's just such a time, and hassle saver.

ken: that's great news that Sprint is going to pump out some BT phones...that is the 1 thing where CDMA lags behind the GSM companies in north america....

You can thank the automobile industry. I think they are the biggest single proponent, kinda hard to ignore all these BT compatible carkits that are out now or about to come out. A few years back I made the rounds in Detroit and it was apparent that this was coming. I think 2006 will be the a critical year for BT as in the year it starts to take off with everybody and everything.

I want a decent phone to work with my TL. I could argue the same way about the other functionalities. The point is as technology evolves you tend depend on it more and more.
