I'm using a laptop because
my house is being packed.
I put away most of the electronics yesterday and now only have this laptop to use. Sucks. I don't know how people do it. Laptops are the antithesis of ergonomics and comfort.
There's three guys in the house packing everything up in boxes. It's a surreal thing. The last time this happened I was out of town and I think I need to do the same this time. For some reason it unnerves me to see people go through all our stuff.
They're going to pack 1/2 today and 1/2 on Monday, load the truck on Tuesday then it's 'hasta la vista' to Philly.

When someone else is paying to move you, and you're moving a whole house, you have someone else pack. It turns out they won't insure your belongings if you pack it yourself (makes sense from the moving companies point of view). If they pack, the entire shipment is insured in full. They did a real good job last time and very few things broke...and what did break was reimbursed without real issue.

Wayne: So, do you come to Milwaukee often?
Alice Cooper: Well, I’m a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers began visiting here in the late 16th century.
Pete: Hey, isn’t “Milwaukee” an Indian name?
Alice Cooper: Yes, Pete, it is. In fact , it’s pronounced “mill-e-wah-que” which is Algonquin for “the good land.”
Wayne: I was not aware of that.

I have a 17" laptop screen or something, the thing is about as spread out as my desktop keyboard, so I don't notice much of a difference.
I also have small hands, so I am sure that plays a role in it as well.
