I'm thinking a retail place so I can just go grab one for a friend of mine. The stores are all closed now and I called Best Buy earlier and they told me they don't even carry it anymore. I see them for $15-$20 new on ebay...does anyone know if CompUSA, Staples, Office Depot, or anyplace like that carries it for around that price? Thank you

 

Not likely that you will find it in a store given it's age.

 

Yeah you will not find it in a store. Microsoft pulled it. Ebay, or a used computer shop may is you best bet.

Why do you need a Win 95 CD anyway?

I had 200+ copies at my work last month, but we broke them and threw all of them away when we cleaned out our storage room.

Wish you would have let me know before...

 

It's for an old PC that is just used for internet and e-mailing. An attempt to install Win 98 was made once but the install didn't work and it screwed up the e-mail.

You should be able to get 98SE or ME on there with toned down UI for speed sake.
