Problem with Google?

I can't get Google to load. I had it as a home page and everytime I started a browser window, it would lock up. I changed my home page to "blank" and no problems .... until I try to access Google, then it locks up.

Seemingly related to this I started having MS Security Essentials popping up a virus/malware warning for:

Exploit.JS/Blacole.BW

Category: Exploit

Description: This program is dangerous and exploits the computer on which it is run.

Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

Security Essentials detected programs that may compromise your privacy or damage your computer. You can still access the files that these programs use without removing them (not recommended). To access these files, select the Allow action and click Apply actions. If this option is not available, log on as administrator or ask the security administrator for help.

Items:
file:C:\Documents and Settings\my.name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\RDMQWZVL\google_com[1].htm

Security Essentials removes it and it comes back (seems to come back AFTER I try to access Google). Ran a full scan with MalwareBytes and it found no issues (current definitions and version) and also a full scan with MS Security Essentials and it found and 'removed' copies of the item quoted above.

Windows XP Pro SP3; IE8 (both are corporate required).

Nevermind.

If you have this problem you need to upgrade to MS Essentials definitions 1.119.1988.0 or higher.

The version 1.119.1972.0 from earler today makes Google a virus (or something).

Any chance this is related to Google's new policy(s) about following you around the internet?
