I went to the Sprint store on my way home from work... they were out of the 800 W... I have read the reviews, but wanted to get an AZ real world opinion... it uses the microsoft 6.1 OS...
BTW...I looked at the Instinct while I was there... thats a really serious package! If it did the bus apps I need.. I would rock it in a hot second...

I need to be able to download and view word, excel, tiff and pdf files mostly... most of the reviews dump on the 800w's speed and its lack of battery power... the last thing I need is a slow pda phone with a poor energy level...LOL
Palm FTL. I have gone through countless (PalmOS) Palm handhelds and they all fail within 6 months. Garbage. There was even a class action suit where Palm paid out $35 to owners due to crappy hardware.
Currently I have a BB, and I can purchase Docs2Go for it if I need it. Check out the BB World Edition, it is a great device!

BB is the move that most of my friends have made...Palm keeps underpowering its devices...my wife"s treo is cool but the screen and keyboard is so small... she loves it... thats really all that counts... but anyhoo... I need to see what Sprint has in BB.... does anyone know if sprint still has a separate data charge for the BB?

As far as plans. It looks like you can go with one of the everything plans and it will include blackberry BIS.
450 minutes for $69.99
900 minutes for $89.99
Or Unlimited everything for $99.99
