Welcome to mid 2009 Google! I've been enjoying this for a year. Now when is Google going to get live in page video previews in video search like Bing has had for a year. Seems like Google's been playing catchup to Bing in the UI department.

I like it. Even though thats been on bing for a while, its hard for me to transition. Google is just everywhere for me, since I use chrome

Had the new yesterday for a few minutes, now back to the old.

Why don't they give an option of which to use? I like seeing the links of where the stuff is located. Or maybe there's a way to do that with the new one, but I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet...

maybe they are doing a OS/browser check and only displaying the new version to certain Operating systems and certain browsers?

 

odd......Using IE (yea I know...work computer) I only get "new" image search when opened in a private window....otherwise it's the old image search.

Weird.

 

I'm on my MBP at work, in Firefox 3.5.10 I can't get it to work, but in Safari 4.0.5 I can.

So they gotta be doing some browser [version] checks.

 

I'm on 3.5.10 and it works. Work POS XP computer.

 

Just upgraded to FF 3.5.11 on my Mac, still doesn't work. Wonder if it's working on 3.6? Guess I won't know until FF fixes the duplicate window bug for mac users in 3.6. That's why I haven't upgraded yet.

 

i like it better with the image descriptions... it helps alot when looking for .gifs or sizes of the image...
it pops up after holding the mouse on it for a sec... but still.. why make things more complicated..

Use the filter on the left for specific sizes. That's what I always do, much better filtering FTW.

 

You can revert to the old style if you click switch to basic view at the bottom of the page. I kinda like the new version....
