He did hashtag and user tag Godspeed in the first IG pic he posted of it lowers so thats your answer right there Im sure. So he has provided the info just not to everyone directly when they ask. That does get annoying though. Cant say how many people have asked about my lip than NEVER buy it.
Aaron theasian/ SlammedILX has been pushing Godpseed and said theyd work with the 16 ILX a while back. Not sure why more people arent buying. Maybe that info got lost?

Now watch none of them purchase said coilovers

When I tell them it cost 60 bucks off ebay and super easy to install it should be a no brainer and Id think all 20 would get the lip. Then none of them do. They also dont have any mods period. Seems like most people just want to talk about parts but dont actually buy them.
So far though I believe this is the only option... aside from whatever Chan Mike used.

I was always under the idea of saving and spending your money wisely while you are young and then enjoy what you built for yourself later. I'm 24, and own a nice house and a car, while when I was younger, our family barely had money for bread. I wanted to change that, and the only way I was able to do that was to work hard to reach my goals.
I'm actually a computer guru, working in IT, and while I was in college, I didn't have money to spend on computer hardware. I ended up joining Hardware Review sites where I became a manager and was able to get hold of some of the hottest computer hardware costing thousands for free. It just motivated me even more to work harder to get to where I wanted to be.
While I could spend a good 5 grand on getting new coilovers, rims, tires, aero kit, spoiler, etc, I feel like I can wait a bit before committing to such expenses, especially now since I'm moving in with my girlfriend and it cost quite a bit to move and furnish everything.
I completely understand what you mean though, and I must admit, I am one of those people that wanted to get those front bumper lips and didn't. 60 dollars here and there add up faster than you think.

Yep, I've been looking at different coilovers for a while now, and I'm just curious what people go with and what they think about them. Since I've never done any mod work on my cars before, I want to be sure what I would like to get in the future.
I understand where you come from, but personally I thinking making sure your own life and your family is taken care of is more important than spending a few grand on bunch of mods without thinking about how it's going to put you and your family in a financial burden. Now spending 60 bucks on something once is not a big deal, so I totally agree with you.

Most 24 years olds will spend $3k on wheels while eating Roman Noodles for the next 18months and still live in Mom's basement.
Having your priorities in order at a young age and knowing what is import is the key to future success. Good job my friend, good job.

She's moving in with me. Here is where it gets even better though. You would think I would be living alone by now. Well that's not the case. I bought my place at the right time, and rented out my house since the beginning for higher than my mortgage is. So it cost me $0 to live at my parents and someone is paying of my mortgage, plus making me some money. I don't necessarily need such a big house for my girlfriend and I at this point in time until we have kids, so for a while she's moving in with me in a 1 bed 1 bath apartment where we'll live togeher. We end up paying less monthly, and about a year from now if everything goes well and I decide to pop the ring, we'll use the money from the rent revenue we saved up to do some nice Kitchen and restroom remodeling/renovations in the house. When we move in together at my house, we didn't have to borrow a single dime from the bank, and we can have a nice place to start a new family.

This is the definition of a smart man.

I completely agree guys. Always be financially aware and secure when modding your car. And always keep old parts just in case you should need to go back and sell an aftermarket piece you bought.
But please guys. Dont for a second include me in your list of people that just throw money at their car blindly. I feel like I am in a weird in-between when it comes to how much I spend on my car. It's either not enough or too much for most people. I see builds that go on and on like money isnt a factor. To them my build is growing at a snails pace. But to a majority of the people here I probably spend more than them on my car. It's like how low I am. A lot of the community say I can go lower where as a lot of average drivers I see on the round think my car is way too damn low. Never gonna please everyone.
And I know people look at my car and can think I have spent a lot of money on it. They like to add up all the parts in their head and go "fuck that Im not spending over 5G to make my car look like that."
If I had spent 5grand in one weekend Id understand. But the money I have spent on my car has been spent over the course of MORE THAN 3 years. Ive owned the car for less than 3 years but Ive been putting a "wheel fund" aside since I owned my integra because I know that is an expensive purchase if done right and I wanted to be financially sound when I made that purchase. In the end I ended up saving more than I needed and being able to just toss a few hundred back into savings. Aside from that, large purchases have been made using tax returns which I see as a bonus at the end of each year because I can make things work easily and save without that money. Getting an extra $2G every February is probably my main funding for the car. Thats where I got my down payment. Thats where I got the money for a lot of my car m parts minus wheels. And that's where I'll get another down payment once I refinance soon.
And in the end it's a hobby. People are always going to spend money and time on what makes them feel good. That's what keeps us sane.

usdmJON, please don't get me wrong. My point with that post was not to belittle anyone or make them feel bad. All I meant with it was to stay responsible. Of course if you had a car for a while, you would most likely spend quite a bit on it to make it your dream car. I've known a fair share of guys in College that would spend a lot on their cars and then they would live like homeless guys throughout the year. They were all show with their cars, but had nothing to actually live a healthy lifestyle. With this said, I know I will be spending a few thousand on my car over a period of time, but it is not always freezable at certain times. It never hurts to do your research over a period of time, and when the time is right, at least you know what expenses you're up to and why you want to get a specific aftermarket part rather than just going with the flow and just doing it the way people tell you to do it. Not everyone is the same so while one thing is good for one person, it might not be for the other. I hope this makes sense.
