nomad muvo2 4 gb
whats great about this is, you can put ANY type of files on it. and its plug and play. so you could go over to a friends computer, and just plug it into the USB drag in say, a program, or dvdrip, and then load it back on to your computer. at the same time, u could also have over 1000 songs on it.
2.5 X 2.5 inches. crazy small... i like it so far, the only prob is the screen. its not too great navigation wise, which is why the miniipod is better in this category.
nomad under $200, 14 hrs battery > $240 mini ipod 8 hrs battery

2004TL, yours sounds great too. i just cant justify myself spending over 200, or even $300 on a portable thing that plays music. (home/car audio = diff story). i also always lose/break these things. (for ex., i go through a cellphone once or twice a year)either way, it seems to me that 20gb for music is just out of hand. unless you are really looking into putting like 15 gb of other files on it.
