Multimedia software question

So I have to put together my wedding slideshow, and I have a pc - what good software is out there to integrate graphics, pics, and mp3's and create slideshow in a single format - like an mpeg?

I know mac users have some good user friendly stuff - don't know waht's for pc's.

Premiere is awesome but very likely overkill. Adobe has a "stipped down" version now called Premiere Elements which has some additional slideshow specific features. I have no idea if it's supposed to be any good though. Adobe generally doesn't put out junk.

Overall, I'd probably recommend checking out Proshow Gold.

There are lots of threads about PSG in the dpreview.com forums. Just do a search.

If all you're wanting to do is take a bunch of pictures, set them to music and create a cool looking slideshow then check out Muvee AutoProducer 4 at www.muvee.com. All you have to do is point it to the pics and sound files and it does the rest. It automatically creates fades and wipes, it zooms and pans on the pictures to make it look more like a video than just still pictures. It's the easiest to use program of its kind out there.

Dude, photo slide shows that can be played in a DVD player are easy to make. Almost EVERY DVD Authoring software can do it. Check out Nero, I use that for mine and you can do menus, music, everything.

I've made a few on Nero. Easy as pie.

Microsoft Photo Story 3 couldn't be easier to use. It's also free. . .
