where to get refurbished cingular phone and sim card question

one of my moms phones got stolen. I'd like to get her a refurbished one but what do I do as far as getting a new sim card. I assume we are going to be charged for this.

Yes, they charge ~30 bucks for a new chip.

Depends really, if You talk to customer service they might hook you up, I remember when I had a problem with my phone and the Sim Card ended up being bad they gave me a free one, or else Try eBay

go to a corporate owned cingular they should just give you a sim. ebay for a phone
