Multi Function Printer Help

I need to buy a Multifunction printer, it has to, FAX, COPY, PRINT.

My budget is under $150-200.

I looked at the Dell A960, but people say dell sucks, and I heard bad reviews. So what else? Help would be Appreciated

i used to work for staples. here's my

* the cheaper the printer, guaranteed the quality either sucks or the cartridges are very expensive

* lexmark (dell) - see above
* brother - last i've played with this brand it's great if you don't car so much about quality. i've noticed powdery white stuff when i printed photos
* hp - expensive machines but reasonable ink cost and good quality. to get under $200 with hp you'd have to get one with a feeder and not a flat bed unless you find a refurbished one. interface in hp is easy to use. i have the HP officejet 7110
* epson - not in this category since last i checked epson don't include fax capabality in their all-in-ones
* canon - great photo quality but cartridges are small IMO and print heads are ridiculously priced

conclusion: depends on what you will mainly use it for will depend on the brand and model. i'm picky with computer stuff so this is what i have

all in one: HP Officejet 7110
photo printer: Canon i900D
laser printer: HP 1012

i used to use the 7110 as my photo printer until i saw the capabilities of canon. now the 7110 cartridges are great in terms of size and efficiency. i can go on if you want me to

buy something that you can use non OEM cartridges in like Canon and Epson. THey cost a small fraction of the OEM ones. Whatever you do, don't buy a lexmark. THere cartridges are the most expensive and don't last long at all. No wonder their stuff is the cheapest.

when i used to work at best buy. we would give the lexmark z25 printer with every computer package rite. it was hysterical cus the printer came with no ink or cable. so 60 bucks for ink and 20 for the cable and you just raised the accessory quota for the department hahah, fukin scammers
