Mouse (computer help)

OK, so whenever a webpage is up on my computer at the bottom of the screen (where the computer task bar is at the bottom), I try to right click and close a webpage. The only problem is I can't do it. I right click, and nothing happens.

For example, I'll scroll my mouse pointer down to the webpage bar in the windows task bar at the bottom of the screen, right click, and nothing happens. I have to open the damn page and then close it by clicking on the "X."

How do I change this?

Oh, and thanks for everyone's help in getting rid of all my viruses and all.

Does your right-click button work in any other place?

Yep. It works on every other part of the screen, including other little icons in the windows task bar at the bottom. For instance, at the volume control icon at the bottom of the windows task bar, I can right click, and a menu comes up. The problem is, it doesn't go away until I click something IN THAT MENU that just popped up. What is going on?

Thanks, but that';s not what I needed. I can right click on the start menu, and the icons to left of the screen (internet explorer, windows media player, etc.) and most of the icons on the right side sof the task bar. I can't however, right click on the internet explorer task bar windows at the bottom of the screen. WTF?
