looking for a new phone...
i have been looking for a new phone lately. I currently have a Sony Ericsson T616 and love it, but it is getting old over 2 years and acts up from time to time.
Right now i found 2 that i am interested in, but i dont know any where reliable that i can buy them...
Sony Ericsson K610im
http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/sony...on/k610im.html
Sony Ericsson K618i
http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/sonyericsson/k618i.html
I assume i can just install my current SIM card and use the phone, assuming it is unlocked. I currently use Cingular.
If anyone has any advice or recommendations please let me know.
Thanks in advance...
edit: fixed spelling...

i just picked up a Nokia E70 and a friend got the Sony Ericsson M600. would help if you provide more details
i did a review on my E70 here you can read. has bluetooth and wifi, flips open for a keyboard. miniSD up to 2GB support, 2MP camera - a few perks i like
my friend's M600 is cool too, bluetooth, touch screen and the size. but what i didn't like is the keypad setup, no camera and no wifi. i didn't get to play with it much though

the E70 is the only purchase i made from them but my friend who has the M600 has bought 2. experience is cool. no hassle and easy to communicate via phone and/or email - if that's what you're asking. a big plus for that store is that the phones are in NYC and not in hong kong or where ever. i ordered it thursday 4pm pst and got it 11am friday. i got the overnight delivery coz i couldn't wait lol. i would've got it on monday but wanted to have the weekend to play with it. my friend also ordered his thursday and got it on monday - pretty good NYC -> Cali.
another site to check out is plemix.com. ex-gf's sister ordered from there but she said the delivery was about a week. other than those 2 sites, i don't know any other place to buy or have experience with. i used to only buy unlocked phones whenever i take a trip to philippines.
user reviews, check out phonescoop.com and howardforums.com
hope that helps

so here is a quick question... looks like Cingular is 850/1900 MHz... The phone i am looking at is tri-band 900/1800/1900. Will i have better reception with a quad band phone?
Also any recommendations for a brick style quad band phone? Preferably sony...
