Problem with new Samsung E870 phone...

I just got brand new Samsung E870 and I am loving the phone !!
I have used D500 D600 and got sick and tired of sliding phones and just got me hooked with this stylish flip phone!
But here is the problem...
I have connecting problem with the phone and my Car(2004 Acura TL). I was able to pair up the phone, but if gets disconnected right away and I am not able to dial out since the car does not recognizes the phone even though the phone says both of them are connected...I get the signal bar for about 5 sec then it goes off and it is disconnected right away...it is so unstable...
I have used motorola V600 V3 SE t610 S700i samsung D500 D600 and I had no problem whatsoever...
Can anyone help me with this issue? I really hate to return this phone...
I am assuming 2004 Acura TL's HFL is just not compatible with new upcoming phone models...is Acura updating TL's HFL anytime soon??
Hope they come up with something if this is the issue....

I haven't had a problem with my phone (a870), but no signal strength or battery life indicators. But have caller id on the info display. I love the phone as well. Maybe need a replacement.
