Hey guys...in the market for a new phone now and basically can't decide what to do. Can someone basicall break down the difference in features and stuff between these two phones. Should I wait for the 600 and pay a pretty penny or get the 300 now for next to nuthin. Whats the actual differences???Mikey???Anyone???

Also I could'ove sworn someone here said they have the Motorola V400...but went to like 3 stores today and eveyone looked at me like I got three heads...does it even exist???

 

OK...I now know the V400 exists for Cingular. Another question strictly for tri-state area members...whats in ur opinion the best GSM serice company for the best reception???I heard T-mobile has the most towers and are the best GSM network. Any help???

 

i personally think cingular has the best GSM in my area. i live in NJ. i love cingular have no problems.. im lookin into gettin da v400. but the only thing turning me off is the non changable faceplate and the plastive cover compared to the v600s changeable metal covers.
i donno weather to wait for the v600 or just get the v400.

The V600 is definitely the best one of the three. I would wait a little while longer...but not longer than Spring.

 

How is cingular in NY or Longisland...anyone???The V400 seems a whole lot better than the V300...but seem somewhat scared of Cingular from rumors in the past(two years ago).

 

How does the V810 (verizon) compare to the V600? Are they even in the same league? And yes I know the V600 is only Gsm.:angry: But I just wanna know if I should even wait for the V810 or switch companies to get me the V600!!!

 

It's a toss up. Either way....you gotta wait...awhile.

I like the V600 because it has bluetooth.

 

Oh I see. I'm f#%$ked either way because by the time verizon brings out the V810, moto will probably have a much better phone for gsm. God do I hate Verizon. Although I cant complain about the reception. Just their lack of quality phones.!

 

v400 is pretty much as the same as the v600 without the blue tooth...

 

And it doesn't have a metal casing.

Not me directly, but i do have friends that do it....if i need to get a cingular phone activated i can make it happen if need be

 

I have a V300 and its the best phone I've ever owned. Great value too at only $200.

 

i have cingualr n my contract was up on feb 6th.. i want to get the v400 for cingular. its liek $99 with rebates and a 2 yr contract. the thing is i dont want to be locked with cingular for 2 yrs. i would rather do a yr. but is it possible to sign a 1 yr contract and get the v400 for cheap (i kno not $99 since dats only for 2 yr contract)??

When I got my V400 the difference between the 1 and 2 year contract was only $50. $199 vs. $149

so since its 99.99 for a 2 yr contract here maybe itll be 149.99 for 1 yr contract..
