Cell Phone Replacement

I just signed up for a contract with cingular about 4 - 5 months ago. I got a motorola t720 and now it's broken. I took it back to the dealer and they were nice, saying that they would send it to the manufacturer and have it repaired under warranty. So I get it back and the problem is still there just not as frewuent. My phone just freezes and will stop working out of nowhere. Has anyone gone through this sort of situation, what should I do? Shouldi go to the dealer and ask for a replacement phone, or should I go to the Cingular main store and ask them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What you can try is doing a master reset to see if the problem will dissapear. Its under Settings--> Initial Setup. Reset code is "000000." This will reset the software and possibly fix the problem.

If that doesnt solve the problem, it might need to be flashed at a store. Flashing updates the software.

If the flashing doesn't work tell them to exchange the phone as a "like to like" replacement.
