I'm kind of new to the off-topic forum, but I was just wondering if some of the veteran guys and cell phone addicts could give me a heads up on some of the phones that will be coming out soon for verizon this summer/fall. I am due for a upgrade from my pos t720 motorola.Hehe and this is used to be a nice color phone. man has technology advanced. i like the kyocera slider phone, but it would have been nice if verizon would get off its ass and get phones like the siemens sl65 and the other sweet phones that attwireless come out with first. Getting the V600 would be nice, but i dont know even when thats coming out finally for verizon. Many thanks guys....MIKE

 

dont count on the v600 ever. its gsm and will only work for cingular, att, and tmobile. i believe the v878 is coming out for verizon but who knows when.

verizon just released the kyocera se47 slider.

ask mikey; he knows verizon.

 

It's not really up to Verizon 100% the kind of phones that they get. I would even say it's mostly out of their control.

Why would anyone care anyting about the phone anyway, isn't the superb Verizon service good enough for you? What more do you want?

hehe...thanks ken..yeah i have to admit verizons customer service is the best in the business... i know you work for sprint but my personal experience with them was horrible. Their customer service is so hard to reach its ridiculous. i like verizon, but i just wish we would be offered a better selection of phones... thanks mikemobiles for the info!

 

That's how it works MQMH.. Verizon does not have the best phones, but they clearly have the best all-around service.

It's not an accident they're #1.

 

this is a question for mikeymobiles who seems to have the heads up on the verizon phones...besides the v710 what other good phones are coming out soon for verizon?

 

a690, possibly the v810 not sure if they are gonna apporve it, along with the e310...if they dont pick it up alltel, usually does or they send it overseas...i only have a heads up on the moto phones since i have a buddy who works for them...also new LG phones are gonna be nasty..

check out the audiovox 9900. its not out yet but i saw some verizon big wig in our store the other day with it and it looks sick. its going to be a video and camera phone

If so, then I would say it's a pretty nice phone, the display is awesome.

 

i am not crazy about audiovox phones at all considerd i heard they recalled the 8900 3 times....and they def are not user friendly when you put them next to LG or NOkia phones

 

so when do you think verizon is going to come out with the audiovox 9900?

 

Here is a link to some pics for the motorola v710 for verizon wireless. We are expecting the v710 to be coming out soon. Maybe by the end of the summer. I saw my manager looking at a email that has the training guide attach to it. So we should be expecting it. Also, I dont recommend anyone buying a audiovox phone.

look for the samsung a670 video phone, the lg vx7000 and 8000, and the moto v710. the samsung is launching the 8th of june

 

Yes, the a670 is an ok phone. Sprint already sells something similar the Samsung a680, it's doing pretty well. If you can wait, I would look for the Moto v710.

 

good, the vx6000s been out for a year now and its still pretty much the nicest verizon phone...

 

hahaha they are number one because they bought a whole bunch of companies.
Now, Cingular is number one.

 

cingular will be numero uno for customer base but verizon will still have them with coverage

 

Sprint's digital coverage is bigger than Verizon's digit coverage. So now Verizon is not the biggest at anything...how will they survive?

 

VERizon has the largest nationwide coverage overall between digi and analog...I am pretty sure with 40 million customers strong (as of recently) we will do fine!!

word is end of the month but then again..no promises since the smallest thing can delay a phone from being released!
