Mac OS X Snow Leopard
Good, there's a 5 page thread about 10.6.5 wifi issues on the Apple forums.

To get the Mac App Store, download the Mac OS X v10.6.6 Software Update
Now give me an updated SimCity game already dammit!
One that doesn't crash and suck EA! Maxis should never have let EA buy them out.
Santa brought me Snow Leopard and iLife '11 for my MBP and I love it! The only gripe I have is that my desktop picture never saves when I turn off my computer and turn it back on.

From what I see, they are added to the Applications folder just like everything else (I tried it out on my MBP a little bit ago). Now the question is, if I buy an app using one iTunes Account, is the app usable by every user of the computer. And more importantly, some programs allow you to install it on a second computer, hopefully the Mac App Store allows for that. Guess I'll try it when I get home tonight between my MBP and my iMac.
You may want to try resetting the PRAM. I was having some issues with Parental Control settings not sticking and resetting the PRAM fixed it. I was a bit amazed.

I just got the new software update for my girlfriend's MBP and the App Store is awesome! I'm tempted to buy Angry Birds but I've already beaten the whole thing on my iPhone. I need something to kill time between classes when I don't have homework and such to do.
I know how to uninstall an app in OSX. Point is they made a super easy install process, they should have put in the uninstall in the app store. You see the installed items in the app store, an uninstall should be there too. just my 2cents
On that note, it would also be nice if when you purchase an app on one computer, it shows on another computer that you previously purchased it and it's install status on that computer so that you can install it if you want to.

Try to login your account first. Then try download apps. Works for me
yea, but some of those games are can be frustrating to play because they are touch screen. There have been times when I've been annoyed that my finger gets in the way of viewing what I'm trying to do when playing angry birds when adjusting the launch angle. Games like this I think will benefit from the magic trackpad.

You aren't running the videos in Fullscreen are you? IIRC, video that is being played in FS has never been interrupted on my machine by any of my power settings or screensaver.
I can understand the price differences, only IF the developer actually takes the time to improve the quality of the visual appearance. The larger screen resolutions warrant the need for developers to take extra time to recreate graphics and redo their programming to make use of that extra real estate. That extra development and testing time I feel is enough of a reason for them to be able to up the price for either the iPad or the desktop version. Of course my belief is a little biased because I'm a developer myself, but I could also see people complaining if they were charging the same price as the iphone version and having an experience that wasn't as good as it could be.
But you're right, I shouldn't have any problems.
. Didn't know if you knew about that behavior or not when in full screen.
Current version of Angry Birds in the Mac App Store sucks. So far, appears to be the same as what is on the iPhone.
Flight Control HD, awesome as a desktop app! This is one of the few apps that actually does better on the desktop than on the iPhone IMHO. Primarily because of the gameplay and control needed. Using the mouse is so much easier to control the path's the planes follow than using your fingertip on the small screen of an iPhone. I haven't tried it on the iPad, but I would imagine it's easier on the iPad using touch.
