lost razr
Well, the one night i put my phone in my pocket rather than on my belt clip, and i lost it. I think it fell out in a parking lot. I called about 100 times and someone answered and said stop calling and then they turned the phone off. Needless to say I suspended the service... so I have to get a new one off ebay now. Anyone think it's worth it to ask to see cameras from the parking lot to see the person pick it up? It's a small lot.

i was thinking that, but i'd rather not spend a little money on a junky phone and get crappy reception.
i'm just going with the silver razr again and gonna flash/flex it to do what i need.
ps.. you can pick them up for 200s now.

Isn't insurance available to you? I pay an extra few dollars a month and if my phone is ever damaged, lost, or stolen all I do is pay $50 and they replace it. It's worth it IMO.

Ya Asurion got pissed with all these people Bringing in Expensive Imported phones, so they changed how they worked, they have higher Monthly rates for PDA's and etc, and the deductible is higher and different than lower end phones.

You can add Video Capture to older versions, Upgrade Firmware, change what it says when you close the phone, other stuff to customize and etc..
Some new firmware upgrades also improve your reception and you can also make your speaker louder, so ringtones are louder

yes, perform at your own risk; these are not covered under warranty. RTFM as much as you can.
I havent had problems doin tons of things like this to phones, but if you dont know what your doing or follow instructions properly, or put the wrong firmware or something, than ya your screwed, and the warranty gets void, but really its not like Cingular or T-Mobile are gonna sit there and realize off the bat what you did, you can get around it.
