Getting nervous about this damn datavis eBay sale. Only got an email confirmation, no shipping notification or whatnot.

Below is a summary of what to expect as far as turnaround times:

Payments by Credit Card
Please allow 24-48 hours for Verification Approval and Processing of your order if you paid by credit card on our site or if you phoned in your credit card information. Some banks do not have automatic charge verification and we have to call them directly to verify your information.
Once your order is reviewed and credit card information including payment is verified Datavision charges your credit card account and ships your order.

In some cases delays in processing can occur based on your provided billing information or credit line availability. If your billing information does not match you will be notified by email.

Payments by Amazon, Paypal, Buy.com, or Google Checkout
Your order does not need credit card verification. The lead time to ship out your order is immediately to two days depending on the item.
Some large TV sets require an extra day to route the freight liner.

Expedited Shipping
If you ordered Expedited / Air shipping method your order will have priority processing and will be processed immediately.

Orders are processed and shipped during regular weekday (Monday through Friday) hours only. If you placed your order on a Friday it will most likely ship on Monday due to freight carrier scheduling tables. Well.. onSale is f@cking with people...at the moment they are not providing any answers but are promising to acquire more supply to meet the orders.

HP.. finally send me an email saying they have captured my order.. whoooopeeteee doooop... in other words, they are telling me to sit quietly before they send me another email beginning with the word Unfortunately or Sorry

I give up. Would've been a great gift for my sister going back to grad school. I guess I'll have to just bite the bullet come September and get a different tablet or netbook.

Shit, I JUST got this email from HP:

I put in an order Saturday, hit "submit" but after the page tried to load for 15 min I got an error. I guess the order did go through though. Problem is I ordered one through B&N last night, so now I've got two of these things coming.

I was thinking the same thing today in Court. "Man a tablet would be useful right now." Suddenly all of these situations that I don't know how I never could have done without my imaginary tablet.

But the initial reason I was ordering was just because I thought they'd be cheap enough to mess around with.

I ordered one from onsale through Amazon, and another from B&N, both yesterday. Haven't gotten any cancellation emails yet but I see the warnings posts.

I ordered last night from B&N @ around 11:10 PM. I got the same email above saying order didn't go through. I doubt your 2nd one went through if it was placed after mine.
