HP has said, at least to my understanding, that more TouchPads are coming. And despite my meh-ing of the product, it has nothing to do with my promise to sell one at the cost I paid: The TouchPad is not a collectible. It never was and it never is.
It stumbled into this weird Apple-is-Gawd-vortex because HP decided to lower the price to a ridiculous amount.
A mint Optimus Prime is although a joke on my part in that post, is different. That is a vintage collectible. And sure, if this was 30 years later, and there was suddenly a "tablet" collecting hobby and following, you can go and mark up the TouchPad.

damnit still have not gotten a touchpad 
Trying not to spend more than $250 on one. Was just going to give in and buy the ThinkPad Tablet but the review are less than stellar for sure.
