Question for the Chrome users: Is it just me or does your browser also have issues displaying animated .gifs at times?
At home on both my computers (laptop and desktop), animated .gifs would not loop or would freeze midway (esp. the smileys and avatars).

$20/hr, sales goal is 2/week, no commission, one week of company paid training in Miami in Nov. In U.S., you'll be hawking them in BB stores. Check your local Craigslist for the job adds: Google Chrome Specialist. Not bad pay for standing around and making people scurry away
No, I'm not doing it, just know a few who are.

However Chrome still thinks "save to PDF" is my windows default printer.
for me its just the smileys that keep getting stuck, dunno why
I get issues with Chrome and Flash pages sometimes. My kids play a lot of those Flash games and get angry when they don't work. Sometimes refreshing doesn't work so I have to tell them to go to another game.
Have a strange problem with Chrome. Been using it for months and it's the only thing that drives me nuts about it.
Sometimes if I click on a tab, the tab will jump for no reason. Will switch with a tab to its left or right. Then I click on another, that one will jump. It's only sometimes though.
It must be a rare problem, because I haven't found much about it online. Here's a guy with a similar problem:

I've found no good answers. Everything is updated and I've tested everything. This laptop is very clean and runs good. I'm pretty much stumped...any ideas?

I'm not gonna lie the latest firefox is nice...
I think I'm gonna try it out for a bit. The only thing I'll miss for sure is the sync'd tabs across the phone and computer. I only used that for sharing something from my phone and didn't use too often. But we'll see.

Google Now integration may soon become available in Google's Windows browser and Chrome OS platform, after engineers added a new reference to the feature in the latest Chromium release. Discovered by Chromium enthusiast François Beaufort, a new flag has been added to the Chromium backend, which allows users to enable the option if they know the relevant Google Now server. However, as the feature is not yet public, Google Now cards (or notifications) are not yet displayed.
We suspected that Google Now would be making its way from Android to the desktop in December, which was reinforced when Google added a new notification center feature to Chrome OS, showing off card-like notifications for browser (or Chrome OS) events. For now, it appears that Google Now will be enabled in Chrome for Windows (no Mac version just yet) and in Chrome OS, but it's not clear when it will become available.

Here's a pretty cool extention. Its a new tab page, that resembles something like google now. Doesnt act like it though. Anyway it has most visited sites, news, weather and apps all on one page. Pretty nice

Read up on it here, I follow them on Plus: http://blog.chromium.org/2013/08/ano...search-in.html
Just installed this beta of the hotword extension for chrome. You can use 'OK google' to start a search from the Google homepage or from a new tab.
Its limited to search, so it won't open up websites or whatever, but search works just like on Android phones. Fun to play around with.

It took exactly one week and I am tired of Chrome.
The popups on mouseover, the flash plugin crashes followed by a "restore tabs" button that is present for .025 nano seconds...

Back to FF for me...

25 minutes waiting for a chat agent from Newegg to answer a couple of questions and when I was finally #3in line, Flash crashed, the page froze and I had to force close chrome.

LG have announced a new all-in-one ‘Chromebase’ device ahead of its official unveiling at CES 2014 next month.
The LG Chromebase will be LG’s first Chrome OS device and the first such all-in-one desktop computer to feature Google’s operating system.
The new device isn’t holding back on hardware either. The Chromebase will feature a 21.5-inch IPS monitor with a 1920×1080 resolution that “delivers accurate color reproduction, stunning contrast and an impressive 178-degree viewing angle.” The Chromebase will also have a 1.3 megapixel webcam capable of 720p output and a microphone for video conferencing.
The Chromebase will come with a Haswell-powered Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of SSD storage. The Chromebase will also feature the following ports:
USB 2.0 x 3
USB 3.0 x 1
Ethernet port
HDMI in
The press release also mentions a keyboard, mouse, and “cable organizer” though none of these have been revealed yet. LG plan to have the new Chrome OS device on show at CES 2014 from January 7th to the 10th.
Aside from the full HD resolution IPS monitor, most of the specs fall in line with newer Chromebooks with the same Haswell-powered Celeron processor line and even the same amount of RAM and solid-state drive capacity. This announcement comes after LG filed patents for various names – none of which were “Chromebase” oddly enough – in October.
