Excel Gurus...Please Help.
I need to plot the following info:
Row A represents Car names
Row B represents the Estimated time for Arrival for the cars
Row C represents the Estimated time of Departure for the cars
Row D Represents the estimated time of how long th cars were standing still once they've reached their destination.
the object of this graph is to show the overlap in times where the 3 vehicles have remained idle on the ground.

PHP Code:
A B C D
ETA 4:23 6:25 18:55
ETD 7:20 22:40 22:28
DURATION 2:57 16:15 3:33

There is no such thing in Excel as Row A, B, C......, it's numerical.
Suggest you fix your question and remove confusion.

it can't be that difficult to read...you've got 4 columns with information that needs to be graphed. If you copy the info into a spreadsheet you maybe able to see it better...I just want to know if it's possible to do the graph because I have been working on it since 9am this morning with no luck...and I have about 30 of these to do...

I'm just very annoyed by TECHNICAL/computer questions that are badly written and posted online.
They create confusion.
Seen way too many of those I guess.
I actually understand his question....only it took me a few more brain cells to process that than otherwise.

I see.
anyway, so the only thing you need in the graph is ETA and ETD. You don't need to (can't) include duration, since it's just a function of ETD - ETA, and therefore unnecessary for showing what you want to show.
Just list the cars in the far left column, with the header "Cars". Then have ETA and ETD as the headers of the next two columns. list the times accordingly, highlight the table, then hit the graph button. Choose a line graph and the lines for car "B" and car "C" should overlap at a certain point.

WRONG...because it doesn't show how long the cars sit on the lot at the same time...that's the whole point of the graph...and you should try doing a stacked graph not a line. graph

HEY NUMB NUTS...
I know what the F***ING graph is going to look like, I wanted to know if it could be done on Excel...Now get out of this thread if you're not going to help

This is what I had in mind. only two of the cars overlap at a time.
EDIT- I think there's a way to draw a horizontal line across to the y axis where the data points are, in case you want to shade in that area to show overlap.
