I just got this nifty new DVD burner, but I have nothing to burn with. Alls I need is to be able to burn .avi movies and watch them on my home DVD player. I've looked at the Roxio and Nero sites, but I still don't know if either can do what I want... what with all the copyright protection stuff.

 

I use Nero, works very well.

 

your burner didn't come with software? lame. go with nero 6 or 7.

also hope you purchased a double-layer burner.

i downloaded one click dvd copy pro and it worked great, only prob was it was a demo and i only had three uses on it, i thought i got the full version tho :/.... my copyright lifter is DVD4free, works easy enough and havnt come across a dvd it couldnt decode yet
