not excited. windows is like a honda accord. very reliable but completely uninspiring. ubuntu is doing it for me right now but without 3 billion beta testers i mean users there will always be annoying bugs and support issues. for this reason windows will always be a damn good OS..relatively speaking of course. i'm sure whatever they release it will be easier to live with than any open source OS. now if i only had the cash right now to buy a mac...

I've never had anything more than very minor problems.Granted, since XP I haven't seen the BSOD ever, and never had a hard freeze, so it's much better than 98 which is what I upgraded from; however, I've had times where I've used windows update, and then after the restart, something didn't work (or once the computer didn't even boot). That's what I meant.
