Open windows and sunroof remotely

So i discovered a few months ago by accident that if you click the unlock button on the remote control once, and then click and hold it, it will open all the windows.

its a pretty cool feature and useful on hot says to cool the car before you go in it. Thought i would share for those who dont know!

Is there a similar way to close the windows?

You can close all the windows by putting the key in the drivers door keyhole, turn to lock the door and hold it there.

Its an excellent feature on a hot day when the air is stale in there and you know its going to be hot as ballz. Go over to the window and let them all down to let the heat out.

Putting them up with the key I dont use a lot, but sometimes. I asked my friend if her 2014 civic does that. It doesn't.

My wife's 08 CRV doesn't do it either.

But it worked for my sons's 07 Accord and my old 07 Odyssey.

I don't like that feature when my good son get a hold of the remote and decide to play with it until the window start to rolls down. Also I barely roll the window down since my tint got scratch to hell.

I remember learning that it does this, I was excited and it seems everyone else that learns this is possible is surprised and excited! Wish you could close them from the remote!

^You can. You have to purchase the KPTechnologies module, and install in the drivers door panel. It is $50. Pretty cool to be able to walk away with all windows and moonroof down, and send them back up!

Nice, good to know! I guess Acura didnt have this as stock for safety reasons in case someone's hand or head is sticking in/ou.

I would implement this mod if it wasnt so time consuming.. Thanks for sharing

Great feature, but I hate how it can't be rolled up by holding down the lock key. Even my dad's 1999 e320 does it, but it uses infrared so you have to literally be standing next to the car for it to work.

My '06 Ridgeline did this. I assumed all Hondas did it.

My 2015 C300 does this but you have to be within 4-5 feet from the car. What the hell good is that? I missed my 06' TL with a range of 30 ft; opened all the windows and roof before getting into a swallowing hot car is great.

No I can't. I just found out the one downside to shaved driver's door handle lock mod.

Yep, that's the only reason I haven't done the mod, at least not until I don't mind springing for the KP roll up.

I just discovered this the other day by accident! I walked back out to my car and could not figure out why all the windows were down and the sunroof was back. I was completely baffled until later that day when I figured it out.

The less known things:
-Press the number of the disc playing to pause it
-Sun visor extends (whaaat?)
-If your outside temperature is off, press and hold SELECT/RESET while on the screen with the temperature for 10 seconds. It will reset your Trip A or B (depending on which you are) and you keep holding it until it cycles from -3 to +3 offset in increments of 1.

I literally just found this out 2 days ago! I showed an associate of mine who just bought a G35X, and he wasnt too happy since his Infiniti doesnt have this feature! I'm actually finding out that their are quite a few cars that dont do this, that you'd think would. Win for Honda/Acura!

I put a viper alarm on mine and tapped the alarm auxiliary controls into the lock wires from the driver door so i can roll up and roll down remotely. Works pretty well.
