if i stop typing for a few seconds, my comp automatically is typing for me. it types "if but" over and over again. i see a green arrow pop up in the top left corner and a little box where you can type. it goes away real fast. i scanned for everything and it seemed ok. any ideas???it

Sounds like you have a plug-in or virus thats taken over

 

 

Reinstall your keyboard and mouse drivers.

 

Sorry, but a bad driver doesn't spell out words....Sounds like a virus or maybe you have multiple personalities...

 

for a minute there, i thought it was a ghost or some shit....

 

i had this problem on my work computer and yea it was a virus. i would sit there and type, stop typing, and it would keep typing jumble by itself. i hit control alt delete and there was some program in the "processes" tab that was in some hacker speak. i forget exactly what it said...something like "haxx0rd" or similar to that.
