Cingular/ATT is a bunch of lying bastards. While the service itself isn't particularly good or bad, the fact that Cingular cut minutes to all ATT plans when the merger took place really pissed me off.

I think those graphs/ratings are not definitive. Keep in mind your geographical location. The places where a certain mobile provider gets poor signal will get more complaints while others don't. It is not a well balanced situation. I'd like to look at it as a bunch of whiny bitches.

They did. We had a family plan with 850 anytime minutes per month and they cut it down to 500. Luckily, only my dad really uses the anytime minutes. The rest of us pretty much only use free nights and weekends and free mobile to mobile.

Still, they never told us and one month, we get a bill with like $100 of extra charges and we're like ? That's when we found out they cut our minutes. Asswipes. Apparently it's written into the ATT contract that they reserve the right to change your plan at anytime, leaving you no legal recourse.

Yup I know exactly what you talking about, I dont know if you want to believe me, but I am hearing from all AT&T 2GO the Prepaid Customers that THey are trying to kick them off the plans, because they want everyone to get Cingular Phones, Cingular Sim Cards, and etc, because Cingular Does not like that AT&T gave Free Nights and Weekends While they dont offer all that, on the $30 and $40 Prepaid plans they dont offer full unlimited Nights and Weekends, so if you need tech support, they wont support you till you transfer, if you need a new phone, they will make u transfer your service to Cinguar Prepaid, Basically they wanna kick everyone off the old service which I understand, but they also want to change your plan, And I myself witnessed something crazy, I had a customer come in and her Siemens C56 wouldnt work with her sim card, and whenever she called it would give a noise like when you hear, when you lose a call, so I was like HMM, so I tried one of my simcards and voila the phone worked, and I tried her simcard in 2 other Phones and same sound, she said she called them up, and they said you have to get a new Cingular Sim Card with there plan, while she was getting 400 Minutes for $40 and Nights and Weekends Unlimited, now after she switches, she will get 300 Minutes and only 1000 Nights and Weekend minutes, Sounds pretty shady to me
